Message of greetings

Hello everyone!
I’m Ippei Kanazawa, the director of Kanazawa Diabetes & Osteoporosis Clinic. We open an internal medicine clinic, which centers on diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis and osteoporosis, here in Izumo.
Since I graduated from Shimane Medical University, I have participated in clinical practice in Shimane and have learned a lot of things from patients. Based on the experience, I got emotion that I would like to give the patients good medical care for their healthy life expectancy in Shimane, which is one of the most aging prefecture in Japan. I want to support the patients always to live with a smile. In order to do that, we have to deliver tailor-made medicine based on evidence-based medicine to the patients as early as we can. To achieve the goal, I have been involved in advanced medical care and research works as a medical doctor and researcher in Shimane University and McGill University (Montreal, Canada). Finally, I will open Kanazawa Diabetes & Osteoporosis Clinic in April 2020.
I’m going to strove to provide good health care for the people who live in Shimane and contribute to the community. As you know, diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis and osteoporosis deteriorate quality of life and worsen life expectancy. If you worry about lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis as well as locomotive syndrome including osteoporosis, please come to our clinic and feel free to ask us about them. I’m waiting for you with medical staffs with the best smile.

Sincerely yours,
Ippei Kanazawa, MD., PhD.
